What brings people in

Conditions we treat every week.

From weekend warriors to car accident survivors, post-op patients to folks living with chronic conditions — if it affects how you move and feel, we likely treat it. Here's what walks through our doors most.

No. 01

Lower back pain

Acute disc flare-ups, chronic stiffness, SI joint dysfunction, and everything in between. Most patients see meaningful progress within the first few visits.

No. 02

Neck pain & headaches

Cervicogenic headaches, post-whiplash pain, and forward-head posture from desk work and device use. Often resolved with manual therapy and targeted exercise.

No. 03

Post-surgical rehab

Hip replacements, knee replacements, ACL and meniscus repairs, rotator cuff surgery, spinal procedures. We build your recovery plan around the surgeon's protocol.

No. 04

Sciatica & leg pain

Radiating pain, numbness, or tingling from the lower back into the leg. We address the nerve root compression, not just the symptom.

No. 05

Sports & activity injuries

Sprains, strains, tendinopathies, stress fractures, and overuse injuries. We get you back on the field, court, or trail as safely and quickly as possible.

No. 06

Auto accident recovery

Whiplash, soft-tissue injuries, and pain after a motor vehicle accident. We work with PIP insurance and your attorney if needed.

No. 07

Work injuries

Repetitive strain, lifting injuries, and occupational overuse. We handle workers' compensation cases and coordinate with your employer and insurer.

No. 08

Arthritis & joint pain

Osteoarthritis in the hip, knee, shoulder, and spine. Exercise therapy and manual work to maintain function, reduce pain, and delay surgical intervention.

No. 09

Balance & fall prevention

Balance deficits, vestibular dysfunction, and fall risk — especially important for older adults. Targeted training that makes a measurable difference.

No. 10

Stroke rehabilitation

Retraining movement, strength, and coordination after stroke. We work alongside your neurology team on a recovery plan built around your goals.

No. 11

Parkinson's disease

Gait training, rigidity management, and LSVT BIG-informed exercise to maintain independence and quality of life as long as possible.

No. 12

Shoulder & hip pain

Rotator cuff impingement, frozen shoulder, bursitis, labral issues, and hip pain from multiple causes. Manual therapy plus targeted strengthening.

Treatment approach

Hands on.
Evidence first.
Always individualized.

Every patient gets a thorough evaluation, an honest explanation, and a plan built around their specific goals. These are the tools we draw from once we understand what's actually happening.

Tool · 01

Manual therapy

Hands-on joint mobilization, soft-tissue release, and myofascial techniques to restore movement and reduce pain at the source. Often the single most impactful part of a session.

Tool · 02

Therapeutic exercise

Progressive, targeted strengthening and mobility work built around your condition and goals. Not generic gym routines — exercises selected because they address your specific deficits.

Tool · 03

Neuromuscular re-education

Retraining movement patterns after injury, surgery, or neurological events. Especially valuable for stroke, Parkinson's, balance disorders, and post-surgical rehabilitation.

Tool · 04

Modalities (when needed)

Ultrasound, electrical stimulation (TENS/NMES), heat, and ice used to prepare tissue, manage pain, and support healing — as a complement to active treatment, not a substitute for it.

Tool · 05

Gait & balance training

Functional mobility work for patients dealing with fall risk, vestibular dysfunction, Parkinson's, stroke recovery, or lower-limb injury. We measure outcomes, not just impressions.

Tool · 06

Home program & education

A small set of exercises you'll actually do — matched to your schedule and environment. We'd rather give you four moves that move the needle than fourteen you'll forget by Thursday.

"The goal is to get you back to your life. We design every session around that — not around keeping you coming back."

First visit

What to expect on your first appointment.

No mystery. No high-pressure care plans. Here's exactly what happens when you walk in.

  1. 1

    Intake (10–15 minutes)

Fill out your health history and insurance info — you can often do this ahead of time. Bring a photo ID and your insurance card.

  2. 2

    Evaluation (20–30 minutes)

Your therapist sits with you and listens first. What hurts, when it started, what you've already tried, and — most importantly — what you want to be able to do again.

  3. 3

    Physical assessment

Range of motion, strength, posture, gait, and functional movement testing. We find the root cause, not just the symptom.

  4. 4

    Clear care plan

You'll leave knowing exactly what's going on, what the plan is, roughly how many visits to expect, and what success looks like. No guesswork, no surprises.

  5. 5

    Treatment begins

Most new patients receive their first treatment the same day as the evaluation. We get started — not "we'll see you back next week."

Common questions

What new patients ask us first.

If your question isn't here, just call — we'd rather answer it now than have you guess.

Do I need a doctor's referral?

No. Florida is a physical therapy direct-access state, meaning you can come directly to us without a referral. Just call or book online and we'll take it from there.

How many visits will I need?

It depends on what's wrong and how long it's been wrong. After your evaluation we'll give you an honest estimate — not a 36-visit package. Most patients see meaningful progress within the first 4–6 visits.

Does my insurance cover physical therapy?

Most major insurance plans — including Medicare, Medicaid, BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, and UHC — cover physical therapy. We verify your specific benefits before your first visit so you know exactly what you'll owe.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows us to access the area being treated. Athletic wear works well. If we're treating your knee or hip, shorts are helpful. If it's your shoulder, a tank top or loose tee is ideal.

Will my first appointment hurt?

The evaluation itself is gentle. Treatment on day one is designed to begin helping, not to overwork a fresh injury. We adjust intensity based on your comfort and feedback throughout every session.

Which Pensacola location should I go to?

We have multiple locations across the Pensacola area. Call us at (662) 714-3122 and we'll help you find the most convenient clinic for your schedule and neighborhood.

Can I use PT for a condition I've had for years?

Absolutely. Chronic conditions — arthritis, Parkinson's, MS, long-standing back pain — are some of the cases PT helps most. Managing a condition long-term is very different from waiting for it to get bad enough for surgery.
